Junior Constructional Innovation Engineer

R&D en Sustainability.Montfoort Werken bij

Our R&D and Sustainability department in Montfoort is looking for an enthusiastic fulltime Junior Structural Innovation Engineer.

Daiwa House Modular Europe is the European market leader in modular construction and active in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the UK. In 2021 the Japanese Daiwa House – one of the largest industrial builders in the world – took a strategic stake in Jan Snel. This has created Daiwa House Modular Europe; the platform for Daiwa House to further expand the modular business across Europe.

Modular construction is an innovative building technique in which modules are prefabricated in production halls. These modules are then stacked and assembled at the construction site to form complete houses. This construction method ensures that we prefabricate the homes in a controlled environment and thus build much faster and cleaner. Industrialised and modular homes can also be disassembled, and are therefore circular. As a result, we emit up to 50% less CO2 than traditional building techniques. It is our ambition to continue to innovate and develop in the coming years towards far-reaching circularity and industrialization of housing production.

The R&D and Sustainability department ensures that we always continue to innovate and develop in the area of sustainability at Daiwa House Modular Europe. We investigate the possibilities of new materials, energy systems and building techniques, of course with an eye on the future. Do you like to immerse yourself in the latest developments and are not afraid to explore new possibilities? Then you are a good match for our department!
